Why buy Tungsten Darts?
While brass is still used for inexpensive darts, such darts are large in diameter and the grip wears down quickly.
Tungsten is a very dense metal, also very durable. Using tungsten to make a dart barrel results in a smaller dart for the same weight. For anyone who plays darts often, the durability is important, as that helps retain the dart’s precision-machined shape, grooves, and knurling.

Rick’s Tips #8
Rick’s Tips Tip #8 Use rubber O-ring lock washers to keep shafts from vibrating loose. They are inexpensive, and save a lot of distraction and aggravation during a match.

A lot of people will argue about this one, but few people actually believe that maximum accuracy, in any sport, can be achieved while standing tip-toe on one foot. Especially after drinking a few beers! Try keeping both feet on the floor when you throw.. your game…
How to Setup a Bristle Dartboard
Bristle Dartboard Setup & Measurements
At one time, there were many different throwing distances, and for that matter, many different styles of dartboards. In the late 1970’s darts organizations in England and the USA agreed to the current International standards.

Skin acid, beer, popcorn butter, pretzel salt, potato chip grease.. all of these add up to make your darts slick, and downright yucky! Clean your darts often with a detergent cleaner to remove oils, salt, and dirt. That salty…
